Job Summary:
Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Pediatric Intensive Care Float, located in Colorado Springs. This 13-week assignment involves providing advanced patient care within pediatric intensive care units, including neonatal intensive care units, pediatric intensive care units, and medical-surgical units. The role requires adaptability, teamwork, and clinical excellence to support patient needs across various units in the healthcare organization.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-Hour Day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: BSN degree, Colorado RN license, Epic experience, pediatric experience, required certifications including BLS, PALS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NRP, and a minimum of 1 year of experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior travel experience, strong critical thinking, and excellent time management skills.
• Float: Float policy allows for floating or reassigning to other areas within clinical competency to fulfill guaranteed hours; floating may occur within the Denver Metro area and up to 35 miles from the original assignment site.
• Additional Information:
  • Childrens Hospital Colorado at Colorado Springs Hospital seeks candidates available for up to 4 days of total rest and recovery, excluding blackout dates of 11/25-11/27, 12/23-12/26, 12/30-1/2.
  • Candidates must be available to work 2 out of the 3 observed holidays.
  • No RTO is approved within the first two weeks of the assignment.
  • Medical and religious exemption requests for seasonal influenza vaccination are permitted, subject to proper documentation.
