The pediatric critical care unit specialty is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse in Aurora, Colorado. The position involves rotating day and night shifts within a Level Three Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) with an open heart focus. This 13-week assignment is designed for experienced pediatric critical care nurses committed to delivering high-quality patient care in a dynamic hospital environment.

- Unit: Level Three - PICU
- Assignment Duration: 09/08/2026 to 12/12/2026
- Shift Schedule: 12-hour rotating days/nights, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Travel Required: No
- Float Requirement: No
- Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: BSN preferred; ADN with 6 years of experience will be considered
- Licensure/Certification: Colorado RN license or multi-state compact license, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Other: Pediatric Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCR) certification preferred
- Required Job Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of staff RN experience in dedicated pediatric CVICU or pediatric CICU with open heart focus
- Previous travel nursing experience
- Certifications: PALS Heartcode, ACLS Heartcode (no Heartcode complete), BLS
- Preferred Qualifications:
- CCRN and ventricular assist device (VAD) experience preferred; please note in work history comments
- Teaching hospital experience strongly preferred
- Additional Information:
- No approved RTO within the first two weeks of the assignment
- Medical and religious exemption requests for seasonal influenza vaccination are accommodated
