Job Summary Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Open Heart Nurse in Phoenix, Arizona. This position involves working in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families to deliver professional nursing care tailored to pediatric patients with open heart conditions. The role requires floating to Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) as needed, with shifts available during days and nights.
Job Details
Position: Registered Nurse Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Open Heart
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Experience: 2 years experience as an RN in pediatric CVICU. Experience at a hospital with a Level III or IV NICU is strongly preferred. Experience floating to NICU and PICU is required. Childrens hospital experience is preferred.
Education Requirements: Associate or bachelor's degree in nursing
Certification/License Requirements: Current State of Arizona Registered Nurse (RN) license or multistate license with privileges, current BLS certification from the American Heart Association, current PALS certification from the American Heart Association. NRP certification is preferred.
Shift Schedule: 12-hour shifts, with day and night options available.
Hours: Minimum of 36 hours per week
Start Date: 10/12/2026
End Date: 03/28/2027
Additional Information: This assignment may involve floating between four campuses: Main, Arrowhead, Avondale, and East Valley. Candidates must obtain and maintain current certifications and adhere to vaccination policies, including flu vaccination requirements.
