Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) position in Oakland, CA, requiring a minimum of 5 years of dedicated PICU experience and a night shift schedule.

Details

• Hospital-based Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) setting
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts)
• 36 hours per week
• EMR: Epic
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS and PALS
• Minimum 5 years of cardiac experience required
• Minimum 5 years of straight PICU experience required — float experience does not qualify
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• All licenses and certifications must be active at time of consideration — pending credentials are not accepted
• Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field preferred

Additional Information

• Local candidates are accepted and receive the same rate as traveling candidates
• Candidates who have worked at this health system for a cumulative total of two years must take a minimum 90-day break before beginning a new assignment
