Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Pediatric ICU position requiring 2 years of high-acuity PICU experience and prior travel nursing experience.

Details

• Work in the Pediatric ICU (PICU) of a hospital setting
• Night shift (3x12 hours, 19:00-7:30) or day shift (3x12 hours, 7:00-19:00) with a 50/50 rotation of 9 days and 9 nights, or straight nights accepted
• Every other weekend required
• Float required as needed to MICU, NICU, and CICU
• Must be willing to work winter holidays
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active MA RN license
• Current BLS and PALS certification (AHA only)
• Minimum 2 years of PICU RN experience required
• Recent experience in a high-acuity critical care setting required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• 2 verified professional references required from 2 of the last 3 places worked, from different facilities

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing to pediatric ICU patients
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this role
• Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius of the facility at a lower rate
