Job Summary:
The operating room pediatric specialty position is based in an emergency level trauma facility. The role involves delivering direct patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and promoting optimal outcomes. The position requires coordination with the interdisciplinary team to support efficient surgical workflows and high-quality clinical care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid healthcare professional certification, relevant educational background, location in the United States, and at least 1 year of experience in operating room pediatric care or related field
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Cerner charting system, trauma level 1 pediatric facility experience, and operating room certification in pediatrics
• Additional Information: The position is located at a trauma level 1 pediatric facility with 14 operating rooms and 2 procedure rooms, utilizing Cerner electronic charting. The shift involves working three days per week, with responsibilities including circulating and scrub nurse duties, maintaining sterile techniques, and assisting surgeons during procedures.
