Job Summary:
Operating Room Pediatrics (OR PEDS) specialization in Austin, Texas. This position involves providing direct patient care in a surgical environment for pediatric patients within a Level 1 Trauma facility. The role includes collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to support efficient workflows, performing circulating and scrub nurse responsibilities, and ensuring high standards of patient safety and care during surgical procedures.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Dayshift, 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Licensure / Certification / Registration: Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. One or more of the following required: Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. BLS Provider obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR required professional licensure at time of hire.
• Additional Information: The unit features Trauma Level 1 14 Operating Rooms and 2 Endoscopy Procedure Rooms. Call responsibilities are required.
