This position involves providing perioperative care for pediatric patients in a multidisciplinary surgical environment. The role requires active participation in various surgical procedures, ensuring safety and adherence to clinical standards.
Job Details
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, Monday through Friday with some weekend coverage; minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: California Registered Nurse (RN) license, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Operating Room (OR) certification (CNOR), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
Preferred Qualifications: Certification in Pediatric Operating Room (CNOR).
Float: Float rotation may be required to other UCSF campuses within the regional radius.
Additional Information: The position involves working in a pediatric surgical setting with multidisciplinary teams. Prior experience in pediatric operating rooms, including competency with electronic charting systems such as Epic, is preferred. Optimal candidates will demonstrate proficiency in pediatric surgical procedures, patient safety protocols, and teamwork in an interdisciplinary environment. Start date is 09/01/2026, with orientation conducted the week prior. Applicants must provide employment history including any prior employment with university-affiliated healthcare facilities, references, and relevant modules completed as required.
