Job Summary:
Operating Room Pediatrics (OR PEDS) position located in Brooklyn. This role involves providing specialized perioperative care for pediatric patients in a hospital setting. The candidate will be responsible for supporting surgeries in neuro, orthopedic, ear, nose, and throat, general, and eye procedures, with an emphasis on OR experience and pediatric surgical procedures.
Job Details:
- Location: 2220 North Druid Hills Road NE, Brooklyn, Georgia, 30329
- Shift Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday
- Required Qualifications: Certifications including current BLS (Basic Life Support) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support); current EMR training and proficiency with EPIC; minimum of 2 years of OR experience including pediatric surgical procedures; experience in neuro, orthopedic, ENT, general, or eye surgeries; ability to scrub is preferred but not required; must have OR experience and a proven ability to support pediatric surgeries; flu vaccination is required with no declinations accepted; must be tested for nicotine and adhere to drug screening policies; RTO (Request Time Off) must be included at time of submission.
- Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric OR experience; ability to support surgical procedures in neuro, ortho, ENT, general, and eye specialties.
- Schedule: Days, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: The facility is nicotine-free. Candidate must provide an up-to-date resume documenting at least 2 years of relevant travel experience.
