Job Requirements

• Active Illinois RN license in hand
• At least 1 year of Registered Nurse experience required
• Pediatric OR experience preferred
• Ability to scrub and circulate in the operating room
• Level I trauma experience required
• Strong teamwork, communication, and patient safety skills
• Ability to meet travel compliance requirements, including Nursys verification and use of legal first and last name on submission

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care for pediatric patients
• Scrub and circulate for a variety of surgical cases in the Pediatric Operating Room
• Support surgeons and the perioperative team throughout procedures
• Monitor patient status and maintain a clean, efficient, and organized OR environment
• Follow operating room protocols, safety standards, and documentation practices
• Participate in scheduled call coverage for nights and weekends
• Contribute to a collaborative team culture focused on excellent patient outcomes
