Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Pediatric OR RN for a 20-week travel contract at a prestigious children's hospital in Chicago, requiring a minimum of 2 years of OR experience and an active IL RN license.

Details

• Pediatric Operating Room unit within a large children's hospital setting
• 10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday
• 40 hours per week
• Weekend call is required, with 7 call days per month including 1 weekend
• Holiday coverage is required
• No floating required
• Epic EMR in use
• Standard OR equipment including defibrillator
• 7-member cardiac team in the department

Requirements

• Active AR or compact RN license, with a permanent IL RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS and PALS (AHA-issued)
• Minimum of 2 years of OR experience required
• Scrub experience preferred
• Previous travel experience is not required
• All candidates must be nicotine-free
• Flu and COVID-19 vaccination documentation with both doses and lot numbers required — declinations are not accepted
• At least 1 professional reference within the last year required for consideration
• Specialty skills checklist required for consideration
