Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist (RT) Pediatric (PEDS) opportunity in a hospital setting located in Fort Worth, Texas. This position involves providing respiratory care for pediatric patients with a focus on NICU, ICU, and emergency department environments. The role is scheduled for night shifts, with a guaranteed minimum of 36 hours per week starting on 08/24/2026.
Job Details
- Schedule: Nights; 12-hour shifts; minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of hospital experience, NICU experience, ICU experience, Emergency Department experience, be able to draw arterial blood gases (ABGs), and hold Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Servo I ventilator, I-Stat, and other advanced respiratory procedures.
- Certifications: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required.
- Procedures performed on unit: ABGs, assist with intubation, nebulizer treatment, Metaneb, IPPBCPT.
- Patient Experience: Candidates should demonstrate good customer service skills and experience with patients across all age ranges.
- Dress Code: Black scrubs for RRT, maintain a neat and clean appearance. No artificial nails, body art coverage, and body piercings limited to ears.
- Floating Guidelines: Float rotation may be required.
- Attendance Policies: Company-wide attendance policy will be followed.
- Additional Information: Position based in a hospital setting, working within respiratory therapy unit providing critical care services to pediatric patients.
