Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist (RT) Pediatric (PEDS) is needed in a healthcare facility located in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. This role involves providing respiratory care and diagnostic procedures for cardiopulmonary patients of all ages and acuity levels. The position offers a rotating shift schedule, primarily working three days of 12-hour day shifts, with no call responsibilities.

- Required Qualifications:
- Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) and cannot be considered as a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
- Completion of an approved Respiratory Therapy Program
- Valid Colorado Registered Respiratory Therapist license (DORA-RT)
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS, ACLS, PALS, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certificationsALL REQUIRED
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy, particularly neonatal and pediatric care
- Out-of-state agencies must register in the Colorado healthcare system and meet radius and CAPS requirements
- Ensure accurate submission of SS# and date of birth in Medefis to avoid onboarding issues
- Additional Information:
- Traveler's permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility (radius rule)
- CAPS registration may take up to two weeks
- Guaranteed hours will not apply on holidays for clinic workers
- Must submit skill sheet, current certifications, Colorado RT license, and resume
