Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist (RT) Pediatric (PEDS) is needed in a healthcare facility located in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. This role involves providing respiratory care and diagnostic procedures for cardiopulmonary patients of all ages and acuity levels. The position offers a rotating shift schedule, primarily working three days of 12-hour day shifts, with no call responsibilities.

Job Details:

  • Location: Glenwood Springs, Colorado
  • Position: Respiratory Therapist (RT) Pediatric (PEDS)
  • Schedule: Rotating shift; work 3 days of 12-hour day shifts with no call
  • Required Qualifications:
    • Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) and cannot be considered as a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
    • Completion of an approved Respiratory Therapy Program
    • Valid Colorado Registered Respiratory Therapist license (DORA-RT)
    • Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS, ACLS, PALS, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certificationsALL REQUIRED
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy, particularly neonatal and pediatric care
    • Out-of-state agencies must register in the Colorado healthcare system and meet radius and CAPS requirements
    • Ensure accurate submission of SS# and date of birth in Medefis to avoid onboarding issues
  • Additional Information:
    • Traveler's permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility (radius rule)
    • CAPS registration may take up to two weeks
    • Guaranteed hours will not apply on holidays for clinic workers
    • Must submit skill sheet, current certifications, Colorado RT license, and resume
