Job Summary: Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) in Illinois. This position involves providing specialized respiratory care to pediatric patients within a well-equipped healthcare environment. The role requires demonstrating clinical expertise, adherence to established protocols, and contributing to patient care teams to ensure optimal health outcomes.
Job Details:
Schedule: Evenings shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Valid Illinois Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license, active Illinois license at the time of submission, licensed in Iowa or proof of application for Iowa single state license at offer acceptance, at least 2 years of current Respiratory Therapist (RRT) experience, BLS (American Heart Association or ARC/Red Cross), ACLS (American Heart Association or ARC/Red Cross), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
Preferred Qualifications: Work history/resume/employment history must have 24 months of current Respiratory Therapist (RRT) experience, skills checklist specific to respiratory therapy discipline, professional reference or performance evaluation from within the past 24 months, drivers license, and experience working with pediatric patients.
Additional Information: The assignment includes a weekly orientation every Monday. Candidates will be eligible for on-call compensation, weekend shifts every other weekend, callback bonuses, and charges/precepting bonuses. All candidates must have a taxable address more than 50 miles from the facility.
