Job Summary
The organization is seeking a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for an inpatient role at a childrens hospital in Nashville, Tennessee. This full-time position involves providing hospital-based therapy for pediatric patients from birth through adolescence, with a focus on feeding, swallowing, speech-language development, and conducting video-fluoroscopic swallow studies.

Job Details

• Position: Speech Language Pathologist Inpatient (SLP IP)
• Location: Nashville, TN
• Schedule: Full-time, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program; Tennessee SLP License (or eligibility); ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP); pediatric feeding and swallowing experience required; experience in a childrens hospital setting preferred.
• Responsibilities include providing speech-language evaluations and therapy for pediatric patients, supporting children with complex medical needs (e.g., dysphagia, tracheostomy, traumatic brain injury), conducting feeding and swallowing assessments and video-fluoroscopic swallow studies, documenting progress using electronic medical record systems, assisting with discharge planning, and educating families and caregivers about therapy plans and progress.
• Additional Information: Support for multidisciplinary collaboration with physical therapists, occupational therapists, physicians, and nurses; focus on children from birth through adolescence.
