Required: RNs must have one year of inpatient experience minimum in the related department with the trauma level shown below                
Required: One year of travel experience is preferred but will consider six months’ travel

Job Summary: The Perioperative Circulator is a Registered Nurse (RN) responsible for planning, coordinating, delivering, and evaluating nursing care for patients undergoing operative or invasive procedures. Utilizing clinical knowledge, judgment, and reasoning skills based on scientific principles, the RN addresses the physical, psychological, and spiritual needs of patients during these procedures. The role involves direct and indirect professional nursing care, ongoing evaluation, and documentation of care within the perioperative environment.

Required Qualifications:
 

• Minimum of one (1) year experience in an acute operating room environment.
• Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures.
• Excellent understanding of AORN Standards.
• Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team providing specialized care.
• Basic computer skills.

Required Education:
 

• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.

Preferred Education:
 

• Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing from a Board Approved Program.

Required Certifications & Licensure:
 

• Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC).
• Current Basic Life Support certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Preferred Certifications & Licensure:
 

• CNOR certification.
