Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Pediatrics/Med-Surg position requiring both adult and pediatric medical-surgical experience with a compact RN license.

Details

• Medical-surgical floor with 8 dedicated pediatric beds
• Patient ratios of 1:5 for adult patients and 1:4 for pediatric patients
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours from 18:30 to 07:00
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• EPIC EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active RN license (Compact) required, pending license accepted
• Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Experience in both adult and pediatric medical-surgical nursing required

Additional Information

• Provide medical-surgical nursing care to both adult and pediatric patients
• Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate for those residing within 50 miles of the hospital
• Limited to one RTO request during the assignment
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
