Description

American Traveler is hiring a Pediatrics RN for a children's hospital rehabilitation unit requiring tracheostomy, ventilator, and central line experience.

Details

• Pediatrics unit within a children's hospital setting
• Day shift schedule of 3x12 hours, 7:00am-7:30pm
• Requires every other holiday coverage
• Care involves tracheostomy, ventilator, and central line management

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact license in hand required
• BLS and PALS certification required (AHA or American Red Cross)
• Minimum 1 year of combined permanent experience in pediatrics required
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required
• Certifications must be active and in hand, no pending certifications accepted
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation
• COVID-19 vaccine required with medical or religious exemptions only
• Flu vaccine required with medical or religious exemptions only

Additional Information

• Provide direct pediatric nursing care including tracheostomy, ventilator, and central line management
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent or per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
• Nurses are exempt from the facility's nicotine-free requirement
• Background check hits are reviewed but open cases will not be accepted
• License hits are not accepted by the facility
• RTO must be discussed during the interview process
