**Exciting Opportunity: Travel Pediatric RN - Night Shift (7P - 7A)** **Join our dynamic Pediatric Step-Down Unit!** - **Unit Information:** - **Location:** Denver, CO - **Floor:** 4th Floor, C Building - **Beds:** 36 private rooms with parent sleeping accommodations - **Staffing:** - 60 total staff, ensuring a supportive work environment - Day Shift: 1 charge nurse (patient free), 1-3 Patient Care Technicians (PCTs), occasional Clinical Nurse Coordinator - Night Shift: 1 charge nurse (patient free), 1-2 PCTs, occasional Clinical Nurse Coordinator - **Patient Care:** - Mixed care with step-down patients (spinal fusions, chest tubes, high flow oxygen) - Staffing Ratios: Step-down patients 1:3, basic care patients 1:4 - Equipped with Phillips Monitors - EMR: Meditech - **Candidate Requirements:** - **Must Have:** - Minimum 1-year current Pediatric RN experience - BLS & NRP certifications - Comfort with high flow oxygen, spinal fusion care, and chest tubes - **Preferred:** - Experience with Meditech - **Typical Procedures:** - NGTs, Foleys, TP Tubes, PIVs, phlebotomy (AccuVein available) - Occasional LPs - **Team Dynamics:** - Fast-paced environment; willing to ask for help and collaborate - A fun and supportive team atmosphere where everyone feels included - **Work Guidelines:** - Free on-site parking with direct access to the unit - First-time travelers must start on night shift - Preference for candidates with multiple years’ travel experience - **Why Work With Us?** - Enjoy flexibility in scheduling with open communication between travelers and full-time staff - Diverse patient population; we accept a wide range of cases, excluding trauma and burns **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
