Description
Bestica is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Pagosa Springs, Colorado.
Job Description & Requirements

Department: Surgical Services
Location: Pagosa Springs, Colorado
Shift: Weekday Day Shift
Schedule: Up to 40 hours per week, based on department operations
Call Requirement: On-call participation may be required; 30-minute response time
Assignment Type: Traveler
Required Qualifications — No Exceptions
Candidates must meet all of the following requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited RN program
- Current Colorado RN license in good standing
- Current AHA BLS certification
- ACLS and PALS certification as required by the department
- Previous travel nursing experience
- Previous Cerner EHR experience
- Relevant Pre-Op, PACU, perioperative, Emergency Department, or Intensive Care Unit experience
- Experience caring for patients undergoing orthopedic, general surgery, gynecology, ophthalmology, ENT, and interventional pain-management procedures
- Ability to independently manage post-anesthesia patients, recognize changes in condition, and respond appropriately
- Ability to perform cardiac monitoring and identify dysrhythmias
- Strong IV, medication-administration, airway-management, pain-management, and patient-assessment skills
