Travel Pharmacist - $2,026 per week in Lansing, MI

Job Title: Pharmacist Inpatient Profession: Pharmacy Specialty: Pharmacist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year of inpatient/acute care experience required. First-time travelers will be considered. License: Active pharmacy license required. Certifications: Chemo/Hazardous Drug Certification required. IV Certification required. Must-Have: Experience with antibiotics, anticoagulation therapy, cardiac dosing, and high-alert medications. Description: The position is for an Inpatient Pharmacist. The work schedule is 7 days on and 7 days off from Wednesday to Tuesday. The daily census for the unit is 480 patients with a total of 500 beds. Patient age groups include neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Candidates must have skills in clinical dosing, compounding, and therapeutic medication monitoring. Knowledge in sterile technique, renal dosing, and pediatric dosing is required. Experience with charting systems is necessary. Candidates must be familiar with the carousel system and Pyxis. This position requires the management of chemotherapy inpatients and high-alert medications. All candidates must be willing to provide proof of their education. Certifications must not pend beyond the contract start date. Candidates are expected to comply with all job requirements and adhere to policies.
