Travel Pharmacist - $2,346 per week in Topeka, KS

Job Opportunity – Inpatient Pharmacist – Topeka, KS 66606

Start Date: September 8, 2026

Location: Topeka, Kansas

Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (07:00 - 15:00), with shift times that may vary. Four weekend rotations required during the assignment (8 weekend shifts total). Block scheduling format. Assignment duration is 13 weeks.

Highlights:

• Inpatient acute care pharmacy position serving a diverse patient population including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Daily census of approximately 100 patients with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Epic charting system experience required; 24-hour orientation provided with additional onsite module completion
• First-time travelers welcome; 2 years of pharmacy experience preferred
• Opportunity to work with high-alert medications, anticoagulation therapy, pharmacokinetic dosing, and sterile technique
• One pre-approved time off period available during assignment

Requirements:

• Active Kansas State Pharmacist license (required at time of submission)
• PharmD and RPh credentials required
• BLS and ACLS certifications current and in hand
• Epic charting system experience required
• 2 years of pharmacy experience preferred; community hospital experience preferred
• Skills in anticoagulation therapy, high-alert medications, IV push medications, pediatric dosing, pharmacokinetic dosing, renal dosing, sterile technique, therapeutic medication monitoring, and Warfarin dosing
• Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
• Willingness to float to like units within scope as needed
