Job Opportunity – Pharmacist Inpatient – Hood River, OR 97031

Start Date: August 10, 2026

Location: Hood River, Oregon

Schedule: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (07:00 - 17:00), block scheduling required. No weekends, no on-call, no floating between units. Patient ratio 1:20.

  • Critical Access/Level III Trauma Center with 25 staffed beds
  • Reduced non-billable orientation – 0 hours versus standard 40 hours
  • Epic charting system in a teaching hospital environment
  • Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including pharmacy, respiratory services, physical therapy, and rapid response teams
  • 13-week assignment with opportunity to return after 3 months
  • Scrubs provided for certain departments; free parking available
Requirements:
  • Active Oregon Pharmacist License required at time of submission
  • Minimum 1 year of outpatient infusion experience required
  • Chemo/Hazardous Drug certification required
  • Oncology experience required
  • Experience with order verification of hazardous and non-hazardous infusion medications, including oncology
  • Proficiency with IV infusion compounding, product evaluation, and verification
  • Experience with treatment plan evaluation, insurance verification, patient education, and adverse reaction management
  • Epic charting experience preferred
  • Community hospital experience preferred
  • 2 professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
