Key Responsibilities of the Pharmacist- Manage complex patient cases involving trauma, burn, critical care, pediatrics, cardiac surgery, and ECMO
- Utilize Dose Edge IV, Pyxis, Meditech, and Vigilanz systems
- Perform IV and medication verification, as well as IV compounding
- Administer Vancomycin AUC dosing and Aminoglycoside dosing
- Conduct renal dosing, warfarin, enoxaparin, electrolyte protocols, heparin, and DOAC handling
Requirements of the Pharmacist- Virginia State Pharmacist license
- A minimum of 2 years hospital experience
- Experience with Dose Edge IV, Pyxis, Meditech, and Vigilanz
