Travel Pharmacist - $2,582 per week in Boston, MA

Required: Massachusetts Pharmacist License in good standing.Hours: Mon-Fri 8am to 4:30 pm (may have earlier start and later finish days, not exceeding 5:30pm). No weekends, no major holidays, may need minor holiday coverage. in conjunction with the Clinical Trials Pharmacy (CTP) team, the CTP research medication to subjects enrolled in clinical trialsEnsures medication orders comply with approved protocolsReviews protocol documents and drafts dispense instructionsOversees the safe handling and preparation of investigational sterile and non-sterile medications Oversees technician activities and performs quality control checks Provides drug information to other health care professionalsTriages and participates in sponsor monitoring visits and audits Reviews new protocols and amendments for drug safety and feasibility Reviews new protocols and amendments and drafts dispense instructionsPromotes a culture of safety; adheres to established practices and policies of the department and notifies the manager of deviations in standard practices Acts as a liaison between CTP and compounding, as well as other areas within the department of pharmacy Reviews patient medications for appropriateness and drug interactionsComplies with state and federal laws pertinent to pharmacy and investigational drug use.
