Inpatient/Outpatient Pharmacist (Contract)
Job DescriptionPharmacist to provide comprehensive pharmacy services in a hospital setting. The pharmacist will be responsible for the safe procurement, storage, distribution, dispensing, and monitoring of medications while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. This role includes reviewing medication orders, providing clinical drug information, maintaining pharmacy operations, managing inventory, supporting quality assurance initiatives, and serving as the on-call pharmacist during assigned shifts. The pharmacist will also assist with policy development, regulatory compliance, controlled substance management, crash cart and emergency medication maintenance, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to promote safe and effective medication use.
