Pharmacy is staffed 24 hours, with five staff pharmacists available throughout the day. Your shift will include working closely with a pharmacy technician for 5.5 hours of your 10-hour shift. You will utilize various documentation and medication management systems such as Meditech, DoseEdge, RXMS, and BD Pyxis. The pharmacy team emphasizes a customer-first approach, supporting nursing and physician staff effectively. You will have the opportunity to engage in clinical activities such as consult services including warfarin, vancomycin, TPN, and insulin management. The department offers a diverse range of services, contributing to interesting and challenging experiences.
