Job Opportunity – Pharmacist – South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150

Start Date: September 7, 2026

Location: South Lake Tahoe, California

Schedule: 10-hour day shifts, 40 guaranteed hours per week, 89-day assignment through December 5, 2026

Highlights:

• Work at a community health system and Level III Trauma Center located nearly 6,200 feet above sea level in beautiful Lake Tahoe
• Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care across diverse patient populations including neonatal, pediatric, adult, geriatric, obstetric, and rehabilitation patients
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounding, trauma and code blue responses, and antimicrobial stewardship programs
• Engage in clinical pharmacy activities including pharmacokinetic dosing, anticoagulation consultation, and patient counseling
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize drug therapies and ensure safe, cost-effective patient outcomes
• EPIC experience required; Pyxis experience preferred

Requirements:

• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree required
• Active California Registered Pharmacist license required; Nevada license preferred
• Current BLS certification from American Heart Association required; ACLS preferred
• Minimum 1 year experience in hospital or acute care pharmacy setting preferred
• PGY1 residency completion or equivalent experience preferred
• Proficiency with electronic health record systems required; EPIC experience strongly preferred
• Must pass THC oral swab screening on first day of assignment
• Comprehensive background check, drug screen (9-panel without THC), and immunization requirements must be met
