Travel Pharmacist - $3,248 per week in Redding, CA

Job Title: Pharmacist Profession: Pharmacist Specialty: Pharmacy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10H Day, Evening Hours per Shift: Varied start times of 5 a.m., 7:30 a.m., and 10 a.m. Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: California Pharmacist license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - Pharmacy residency and/or BCPS preferred. - Experience in oncology infusion centers is a plus. - No new graduates please. Description: This position requires a pharmacist to manage medication therapy and ensure safe and effective medication use. The unit consists of 267 inpatient beds and 100 outpatient beds. Ratios are 2:1 technician to pharmacist as per state law. The pharmacy operates 24/7. Shifts may include days, evenings, and weekends. The role involves working with a diverse patient population, including NICU, pediatrics, adults, geriatrics, and oncology patients. Experience in sterile compounding is desired. Charting system used is Cerner. Weekend and holiday work is required. Staffing includes a pharmacist charged with overseeing medication distribution and patient counseling. Candidates must be prepared to float as needed and participate in floor-specific orientation.
