Shifts: Monday - Friday: 7am-9pm; Saturday + Sunday: 7am-7pm

Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist for a travel assignment in Johnson City, NY. This clinical-allied role ensures accurate medication administration in retail pharmacies, ranging from clinical assessments to managing prescription delivery. The environment offers diverse shifts with a mix of 8-hour and 12-hour schedules.

Key Responsibilities of the Pharmacist
  • Interpret and clarify orders/prescriptions from authorized practitioners
  • Ensure compliance with professional standards, state and federal laws, and departmental policies
  • Communicate with patients for prescription counseling and educational activities
  • Maintain accurate controlled substance documentation
  • Supervise technical staff during distributive activities
  • Prepare, supervise, and check the preparation of compounded products
  • Prepare and execute pharmacy-related documents for regulatory compliance
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements of the Pharmacist
  • Bachelor of Science Degree (B.S.) or Pharm.D. in Pharmacy from an accredited college or university
  • Licensed as a Pharmacist in New York State or NYS internship permit
  • Experience with EPIC preferred
  • Preferred: One year of experience as a pharmacist
