The position requires working in an inpatient setting, providing vital pharmacy services to the community. A flexible schedule is necessary, as shift times can vary. Key Responsibilities of the Pharmacist- Process prescriptions accurately and timely
- Adhere to policies regarding controlled substances and patient counseling
- Maintain current medication knowledge and flexibility to move where needed
- Manage daily administrative operations to ensure high-quality service delivery
- Develop and supervise staff to facilitate professional growth
- Participate in departmental orientation and quality assurance programs
Requirements of the Pharmacist- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited school of Pharmacy OR Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
- Current and active state Pharmacy license (Arizona state license preferred)
- BLS certification within 30 days of hire
- Minimum of five years professional experience, with two years in management
- Experience in inpatient or emergency room settings
