Comfortable with standard pediatric orders due to the presence of a pediatric unit. Description: The role involves order verification and product check and release. Responsibilities include remote sterile compounding verification and clinical tasks. Clinical tasks may involve IV-PO reviews, renal dose reviews, and aminoglycoside and anticoagulation dosing. Shifts are 8-hour shifts with variable start times between 0600 and 1530. Weekend requirements involve up to every other weekend. Holiday requirements involve rotating holidays. There is no on-call requirement, but call-in may be requested for sick calls. The medication dispensing system includes Omnicell ADMs and Cerner EMR. Business casual dress is required, with facility scrubs provided for sterile environments.
