Travel Pharmacist - $3,606 per week in Chesapeake, VA

Job Title: Pharmacist - Inpatient Setting Profession: Pharmacy Specialty: Pharmacist Inpatient Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 5x8 Hours Hours per Shift: Day shifts: 06:30 - 15:00, 07:30 - 16:00, 09:00 - 17:30, 10:00 - 18:30; Evening shifts: 13:00 - 21:30, 14:30 - 23:00; Overnight shifts: 19:30 - 07:30, 20:30 - 07:30 Experience: 1 year inpatient pharmacy experience required; travel experience preferred License: Must have a valid state license in hand at the time of submission Certifications: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy required; PharmD, RPh required Must-Have: IV experience, pain controlled analgesia, antibiotics, drug interactions, order entry, verify medication orders required; EPIC charting experience required Description: Pharmacist needed in an inpatient setting. Position is available as soon as possible for 13 weeks. Shifts will follow a rotating schedule, with weekdays and some weekends (every third weekend). Night shifts will operate on a 7 nights on, 7 nights off basis if applicable. Majority of shifts will be day and/or evening, with a weekend rotation. Occasional overnight shifts may be required. Candidates must have a valid state license in hand at the time of submission. Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy is required. Minimum of 1 year of inpatient pharmacy experience is required; travel experience is preferred. Skills required include IV experience, pain control, antibiotics management, drug interaction knowledge, and medication order verification. Experience with chemotherapy, anticoagulants, pharmacokinetic dosing, and renal dosing is preferred. Professional dress or hunter green scrubs are required. Facility cannot accommodate a PAPR for fit testing. No history of license or background hits will be accepted. Candidates must ensure all qualifications are met before applying.
