Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmacist for a travel assignment in Lake Charles, LA. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic hospital setting, providing pharmacy services with a commitment to excellence and efficiency. Pharmacists will engage with various departments, including a 17-bed ICU, cardiac cath lab, and emergency department.

Key Responsibilities of the Pharmacist- Prepare and dispense drug orders according to physician requests and hospital protocols
- Transcribe and verify drug orders into the computerized patient medication system
- Compound and dispense pharmaceuticals, including chemotherapy and parenteral nutrition
- Monitor patient drug therapies and provide drug information to staff and patients
- Conduct clinical consultations and medication use reviews
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and quality improvement programs
Requirements of the Pharmacist- Pharmacy state licensure required (LA license required)
- Doctor of Pharmacy or BS Pharmacy degree required
- BLS via AHA required; ACLS via AHA preferred
- Hospital pharmacy experience preferred
