Travel Pharmacist - $3,887 per week in Chesapeake, VA

Job Title: Pharmacist Inpatient Profession: Pharmacy Specialty: Pharmacist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Rotating Schedule Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year of recent inpatient pharmacy experience is required. Previous travel experience is preferred. License: Active state pharmacist license is required. Certifications: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy is required. PharmD and Registered Pharmacist (RPh) credentials are required. Must-Have: Epic proficiency is required with no exceptions. Description: Client is located in the beautiful Coastal Virginia region. Chesapeake offers hiking trails for all experience levels and more than 20 waterways to explore. The pharmacist will work in an inpatient setting. The schedule includes a rotating shift, weekdays, and some weekends. Shifts are available as day shifts, evening shifts, and overnight shifts. Travelers must work two of the three winter holidays. Active Virginia pharmacist license must be available at the time of submission. IV admixture and IV pharmacy experience are required. Patient-controlled analgesia (PCA) management is necessary. Antibiotic management and drug interaction review are essential duties. Candidates with any license or background hits will not be considered. Compliance with all requirements is mandatory. Ability to manage chemotherapy, anticoagulation management, pharmacokinetic dosing, and renal dosing is preferred. Majority of shifts will be day and/or evening, with a weekend rotation and occasional overnight shifts if needed.
