Shifts: 7am to 5pm; rotation every 3rd weekend; on-call every 3 weeks
Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Pharmacist for a travel assignment in the bustling inpatient pharmacy department in Iron Mountain, MI. This role involves providing pharmaceutical care in various areas such as the ER, ICU, and infusion/oncology centers, ensuring the effective management of medication orders and entry. Key Responsibilities of the Pharmacist- Compounding and order entry/verification in an inpatient setting
- Supervising pharmacy technicians in their duties
- Supporting diverse pharmacy operations, including ER, ICU, and infusion/oncology centers
- Ensuring medication is dispensed accurately using the Pyxis system
Requirements of the Pharmacist- Michigan pharmacist and controlled substance license
- BLS certification (AHA)
- Competency as an inpatient RPh with preferable Paragon experience
- Proficiency with Pyxis medication dispensing systems
