Pay: $4,466.88 weekly

Shifts: Various including 6am to 2:30pm, 7:30am to 4pm, 8am to 4:30pm, 1pm to 9pm

Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled and experienced Pharmacist for a travel assignment in Grand Island, Nebraska. This role specializes in providing pharmaceutical care and services in a hospital environment. With a variety of shifts available, this opportunity offers a dynamic work setting where you will play a crucial role in patient care.

Key Responsibilities of the Pharmacist
  • Order verification and dispensing medications for patients
  • Conducting patient work ups and participating in rounds
  • Performing medication reconciliation and counseling
  • Preparing and checking compounded IVs
  • Monitoring drug therapy for efficacy and safety
  • Identifying and addressing drug interactions and contraindications
  • Communicating with providers on medication clarification
  • Performing pharmacokinetic dosage calculations
  • Maintaining clinical competency and participating in mandatory education

Requirements of the Pharmacist
  • Graduate of a college of pharmacy
  • State of Nebraska Pharmacy License
  • Experience with EPIC, Medi-dose, and BD Pyxis systems
  • 1 year of hospital experience required, retail experience acceptable
  • BLS or ACLS certification preferred
