Pharmacist, General — Portland, Oregon — Travel assignment starting August 3, 2026 for 13 weeks — $2,976 to $3,006 per week — 5x8 rotating shifts in a hospital pharmacy setting. Responsibilities
- Compound, prepare, mix, manufacture and dispense medicines using a high level of technical and organizational skill.
- Oversee proper handling, usage and storage of drugs within the pharmacy.
- Maintain standards set by the department and translate policies and procedures into daily operation and clinical activities.
- Supervise and train assigned technical personnel and assume responsibility for technical support activities within the pharmacy department.
- Apply critical thinking to resolve pharmacotherapy and workflow issues, ensuring accuracy, safety and regulatory compliance in dispensing and diversion control.
- Collaborate with clinical teams to optimize medication use and support patient care initiatives.

Requirements
- Experience in pharmacy operations with focus on compounding, preparation, and dispensing
- Ability to supervise and train technical staff and support personnel
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and robust problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in drug handling, storage, and adherence to safety and regulatory guidelines
- Capacity to work in a hospital/pharmacy setting with rotating shifts
