Job Description
Inpatient Pharmacist responsible for providing clinical and distributive pharmacy services in an acute care hospital setting. The role includes medication verification, dosing support, sterile compounding, IV medication preparation, and clinical monitoring to ensure safe and effective pharmacotherapy across all patient populations.
Mandatory Skills / Experience
Minimum 1 year inpatient pharmacy experience required
First-time travelers accepted
Experience with Epic charting required
Strong knowledge of clinical dosing and pharmacokinetics
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced hospital pharmacy environment
Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills
Clinical Skills Required – IV preparation and administration support, antibiotic stewardship, TPN/TPN compounding, IV piggyback and IV push medications, sterile technique, anticoagulation therapy, therapeutic drug monitoring, renal/pediatric/geriatric dosing, high-alert medication management, and warfarin dosing.
