Key Responsibilities
- Dispense and verify prescription medications accurately and in compliance with applicable regulations
- Review and interpret physician orders to ensure appropriateness of therapy
- Collaborate with clinical staff to support patient medication management and safety
- Monitor for drug interactions, contraindications, and adverse effects
- Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation in accordance with facility policies
Required Qualifications
- Active Pharmacist license required
- Minimum of 1 year of pharmacist experience
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) or equivalent degree
- Ability to work evening shifts, Monday through Friday
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a hospital or institutional pharmacy setting
- Familiarity with electronic health record and pharmacy dispensing systems
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume pharmacy environment
