Contract | Days | 5x8 Rotating Schedule | Weekdays with rotating weekends (every 3rd weekend) | Shift times vary: Day (6:30–18:30), Evening (13:00–23:00), and Overnight (19:30–07:30) options available | Extended assignments through January 2027 available

Key Responsibilities

• Perform IV admixture and IV pharmacy preparation in an inpatient setting
• Manage and review medication orders including entry and verification
• Conduct drug interaction reviews and support antibiotic stewardship programs
• Oversee patient-controlled analgesia (PCA) management
• Process and verify medication orders using Epic EMR
• Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure safe and effective medication therapy

Required Qualifications

• Active Virginia Pharmacist license in hand at time of submission (no exceptions)
• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy required; PharmD preferred
• Registered Pharmacist (RPh) credentials required
• Minimum of 1 year of recent inpatient pharmacy experience
• Epic EMR proficiency required (no exceptions)
• Clean license and background history required; any prior hits will disqualify a candidate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Chemotherapy preparation and handling experience
• Anticoagulation management and pharmacokinetic dosing
• Renal dosing experience
• Previous travel pharmacy experience
