Contract | Days/Evenings/Overnight Rotating | 5x8-hour shifts | Rotating schedule including weekdays and some weekends (approximately every 3rd weekend) | Overnight rotation: 7 nights on / 7 nights off | Extended assignments through January 9, 2027 may be available | Travelers are expected to work two of the three winter holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Perform IV admixture and IV pharmacy preparation in an inpatient setting
• Manage and monitor patient-controlled analgesia (PCA) and antibiotic therapy
• Conduct drug interaction reviews and support antibiotic stewardship
• Process and verify medication orders with accuracy and compliance
• Utilize Epic EMR for all medication order entry and verification workflows

Required Qualifications

• Active Virginia Pharmacist license in hand at time of submission — no exceptions
• PharmD and Registered Pharmacist (RPh) credentials required
• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy required
• Minimum of 1 year of recent inpatient pharmacy experience
• Epic EMR proficiency required — no exceptions
• No prior license or background hits will be considered — no exceptions
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible (radius rule applies to this position)

• Chemotherapy experience
• Anticoagulation management
• Pharmacokinetic dosing
• Renal dosing
• Previous travel assignment experience
