Contract | Onsite | Days/Evenings/Overnight Rotating | 5x8 shifts, rotating schedule including weekdays and some weekends (every 3rd weekend). Overnight option available: 7 nights on / 7 nights off. Travelers must work two of the three winter holidays. Extended assignments through January 9, 2027 are available but not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform IV admixture and IV pharmacy preparation in an inpatient setting
• Manage and monitor patient-controlled analgesia (PCA)
• Conduct antibiotic stewardship and drug interaction reviews
• Process and verify medication orders accurately and in a timely manner
• Support anticoagulation, pharmacokinetic, and renal dosing as needed
• Utilize Epic for all pharmacy documentation and order management

Required Qualifications

• Active Virginia Pharmacist license in hand at time of submission — no exceptions
• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy required
• PharmD and Registered Pharmacist (RPh) credentials required
• Minimum of 1 year of recent inpatient pharmacy experience
• Epic proficiency required — no exceptions
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel pharmacy experience
• Chemotherapy experience
• Anticoagulation management
• Pharmacokinetic and renal dosing experience
