Ability to work cooperatively with staff and communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Ability to handle frequent interruptions and adapt to changes in workload and schedule. Ability to set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond quickly to emergency requests. Ability to exercise sound professional judgment. Knowledge of CII Safe/PYXIS operations. Description: The Staff Pharmacist is responsible for providing clinical judgment, professional knowledge, and distribution skills in the Pharmacy Department. This ensures that patients receive pharmaceutical care consistent with the mission of the department and the organization. The Staff Pharmacist identifies, resolves, and prevents drug-related problems. These activities are performed in accordance with established policies, procedures, and techniques of the Pharmacy and federal and state standards and regulations. The Staff Pharmacist supports and contributes to the service excellence mission of the organization and the Pharmacy Department. The role requires computer experience with pharmacy programs and Windows. Demonstrated application of drug knowledge and clinical judgment is essential.
