Pharmacist – Outpatient Infusion

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the medication use process within an outpatient infusion center
- Perform order verification for non-hazardous and hazardous outpatient infusion medications, including oncology
- Conduct IV infusion compounding product evaluation and verification
- Evaluate oncology and non-oncology treatment plans
- Evaluate and verify insurance coverage prior to initiating treatment plans
- Provide patient education on infusion medications and participate in adverse reaction management
Required Qualifications- Active Oregon Pharmacist license (may submit with license pending)
- Minimum 1 year of outpatient infusion experience
- Proficiency with Epic electronic health records
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility (local candidates accepted at applicable rate)
- Must have a personal vehicle available for this assignment
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with oncology medication management and treatment plan evaluation
- Background in insurance authorization processes related to infusion therapy
