Pharmacist – Outpatient Infusion (Oncology)

Key Responsibilities- Oversee the medication use process within an outpatient infusion center, including order verification of both non-hazardous and hazardous infusion medications
- Evaluate and verify oncology and non-oncology treatment plans prior to initiation
- Perform IV infusion compounding product evaluation and verification
- Evaluate and verify insurance coverage prior to initiating treatment plans
- Provide patient education on infusion medications
- Participate in and manage infusion adverse reactions
Required Qualifications- Active Oregon Pharmacist license (may submit with license pending)
- Minimum of 1 year of dedicated outpatient infusion pharmacy experience
- Oncology patient care experience required
- Proficiency with Epic electronic health records system
- Must have reliable personal vehicle for this assignment
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience in a Critical Access or Trauma Center facility setting
- Familiarity with hazardous drug handling and compounding protocols in an oncology infusion environment
