Travel Pharmacist – Inpatient Acute Care (10:00 AM – 8:30 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient pharmacy services within a Joint Commission Accredited community hospital and regional referral center
• Prepare and dispense medications including IV room compounding and admixture services
• Support clinical pharmacy needs across service lines including Emergency Medicine, Critical Care, Cardiology, Medical-Surgical, Orthopedics, Perioperative Services, Labor and Delivery, Infectious Disease, Pain Management, and Anticoagulation Therapy
• Operate Omnicell automated dispensing systems and document within MedHost EHR
• Serve a diverse patient population including adult, geriatric, and pediatric emergency patients
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and accurate medication management

Required Qualifications

• PharmD or equivalent pharmacy degree required
• Minimum of 2 years of inpatient pharmacy experience
• IV room experience required
• Active and unrestricted pharmacist licensure applicable to the state of Arizona
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience floating within an inpatient pharmacy setting
• Familiarity with Omnicell automated dispensing systems and MedHost EHR
• Background in critical care, cardiology, or anticoagulation therapy management
