Contract | Onsite | Rotating shifts; 10-hour shifts in PM/overnight roles on a block schedule (7/70), day shifts are 8-hour staggered starts beginning at 0600; up to every other weekend required; rotating holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Perform order verification, product check and release, and remote sterile compounding verification
• Carry out clinical tasks including IV-to-PO conversion, renal dose review, aminoglycoside dosing, and anticoagulation dosing
• Work across variable inpatient areas based on team needs; must be comfortable processing standard pediatric orders due to an embedded pediatric hospital
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians who are staffed 24 hours in both sterile compounding and nonsterile roles
• Utilize Omnicell ADMs, Cerner EMR, and Pharmacy Keeper for compounding and remote verification

Required Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin Pharmacist license required (ACT 10 accepted)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of hospital pharmacy experience
• Must live more than 80 miles from the facility to be eligible at the standard contract rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Pharmacy residency training strongly preferred
• 3 or more years of hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Familiarity with sterile compounding environments and associated dress code requirements
