Travel Pharmacist – Nights (9:00 PM – 7:00 AM) / 13-Week Contract

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | Nights | 13 Weeks | 7 ON / 7 OFF (Wednesday through Tuesday) | 10-Hour Shifts
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive pharmacy services during overnight shifts (9:00 PM – 7:00 AM) within a full-service hospital pharmacy staffed 24 hours a day
- Manage and supervise pharmacy technicians independently for approximately 5.5 hours of the 10-hour shift
- Utilize pharmacy documentation and dispensing systems including Meditech, DoseEdge, RXMS, BD Pyxis, and VigiLanz for accurate medication management and clinical intervention monitoring
- Support clinical activities including consult services such as warfarin, vancomycin, TPN, and insulin management, as well as drug information and intervention management
- Serve a broad patient population across multiple service lines including NICU, ICU, OR, emergency departments, inpatient rehab, acute detox, behavioral health, and a Level II trauma center
- Uphold a customer-first pharmacy practice model by supporting nursing and physician teams to optimize patient outcomes
Required Qualifications- Active Pharmacist licensure applicable to the state of Utah
- Minimum of 2 years of pharmacist experience
- Demonstrated experience with technician management and the ability to work independently alongside a technician
- Proficiency with BD Pyxis and CIISafe
- Experience with VigiLanz clinical surveillance software
Preferred Experience / Skills- BLS/ALS certification preferred but not required
- Experience in a high-acuity or multi-service hospital pharmacy environment including trauma, NICU, or behavioral health settings
- Familiarity with Meditech, DoseEdge, and RXMS documentation systems
