Sr. Pharmacist (Epic)

Key Responsibilities- Compound, prepare, mix, manufacture, and dispense medications using a high level of technical and organizational skill
- Oversee the proper handling, usage, and storage of drugs within the pharmacy
- Maintain departmental standards and translate policies and procedures into daily operational and clinical activities
- Supervise and train assigned pharmacy technicians and support staff
- Apply critical thinking to ensure accurate and safe medication management
- Assume responsibility for technical support activities within the pharmacy department
Required Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy
- Active Pharmacist license in the state of practice
- All licensures and certifications required to fulfill pharmacist duties at the state level
- Epic and Cerner experience within the last 5 years, with verifiable work history entries indicating the charting system(s) used and corresponding dates
- Must have successfully completed at least one prior contract or served as an employee of an organization
Preferred Experience / Skills- Bachelor's Degree
- Two or more years of pharmacy technician or clinical pharmacy experience
- Two or more years as a clinical pharmacist specializing in a regulatory area
- One or more years of hospital pharmacy experience
